Browning Floating Gun Slip

A quick write up on the Browning Skimmer 52 inch floating Gun Slip. I could sum this up in one word but i’ll do the review justice. Decent shoulder strap with a support pad, to be honest, the strap could do with being a foot longer. In full gear and in the winter it is not long enough, there are two carry handles that are…carry handles and do the job. There is an outside pocket that is slightly less waterproof than toilet paper and a very fancy Browning logo. To be fair, my Maxus 30″ fits in, there is a waterproof zip and a roll over velcro end. I paid £30.00 for this and I wish I hadn’t, it leaks like a sieve and soaks up water like a sponge. What the flimsy waterproof zip is for I do not know ? I have not tested the floating abilities of this slip  and I can’t see me using it next season so I cannot comment but what I will say is “stay well clear” Verdict – to poor to re sell – Binned
